I know it’s been a while gang, but I didn’t get a chance to post these fun images of my dear friend Mallie McCown.
Mallie and I went to Chapman University together, and she’s hilarious – just one of the funniest girls you’ll meet. But she still has that down to earth charm. I have a few headshots that I’ll be uploading over at Tiffany Rose Photos as well, but for now I bring you a pin up & a future dream!
Honestly I could eventually see Mallie as a regular on SNL, and I hope she eventually gets there.
Up next: A Zombie Prom, and some geeky pin ups!

Set 3 in the series of photos from Medusa Salon, another four pictures for you to enjoy!
Medusa Salon, for all you OC people, is located in Huntington Beach and the ladies that work there are FANTASTIC. They have hair, make up, nail, and waxing services.
The actual salon is full of fun and a relaxed atmosphere, hip music in the background and bright walls and styling everywhere – this photo was shot on location!
All the girls who work at Medusa are exceptionally creative and most had a hand in coming up with ideas for their photos, all of them delivered as models.
Of course, it just wouldn’t be a Cherry Fizz photo unless it had lots of eye popping colors (or, in other cases, a retro aesthetic.)

Like I promised, some more sexilicious photos – hair and makeup done by Medusa Salon. I think I might set up some photo shoots through their salon available to the general public, a hair/makeup/photo shoot special.
The best part about this was how guerrilla it was – I have two tiny little lights I use, and of course the surrounding area of the salon. But I managed to get SO many looks. I’m only about 1/2 through editing all of the photos.
So I showed up, used what I had available to me, and took some pictures, trying to create something fun for each person unique to their personality.
I don’t hide that I use photoshop. I’ve been using photoshop for longer than I’ve been a photographer, and have taught myself what I know – but for me, these photos aren’t a portrayal of reality – that’s part of the fun! Reality has it’s place, but it’s so boring.
I prefer something out of the extraordinary – out of the box, bright with colors (well, for the most part) – something that makes you realize how sparkly you are. Yes sparkly. Like those darned Twilight vampires. Which reminds me, vamp season IS upon us, and I do have a little thing for True Blood, mmmmm. Maybe I need to take some sexy photos, yes?

How adorable is this little flower? This is a Dino Fleur, by Cassie Wanda. Nothing much to say – just another one of the lovely Ashley Stephens with make up and hair by Jennifer Fredrickson.

Hey everyone! As you know, I’m a big fan of Animoto video creation services. Anyways at the request of my favorite Chapman professor, Cory O’Connor, I made a new video (one not featuring lines about which a teacher being a fool – which, I don’t personally think teachers are fools, I just liked the beats in the song.)
Anyways, here’s my new video, featuring a lot more of my pin ups!

No, not the legendary monster, instead, Medusa Salon! Located in Huntington Beach, CA, I set up an arrangement with them to exchange awesome hairstyles for awesome photos. I have a lot more that still need to be edited, but here are a few to share with my lovely and loyal fans.
I hope you love these as much as I do!
Expect another four pictures soon, and a few more illustrated images coming up soon as well!

I would actually like to see the renaissance of rock n’ roll happen. Okay, some people think it happened with the patron saints John, Paul, George, Ringo, I’m still not sure we’ve hit it, I’d like to see it 100 years from now after civil war, possibly total world war and unrest have torn the nation apart and then tries to rebuild from the dark ages we will have finally had in the US (ha, I know the last 8 seemed impossible). Truth be told, I’d actually love to see music once we’ve mastered intergalactic travel, see how that astounding revolution in science is reflected in music. No, not like The Sun is a Mass…(Of Incandescent Gas) – just hoping that at some point we will meet, you know, something out in the great unknown, hopefully life on another planet. (What, you think I’m silly? I think you’re silly to think that in an infinite universe that is quite possibly just one in many layers of a multitude of universes, no, really, that there’s only 1 possibility.)
Okay, this isn’t a space picture. This is a picture of the lovely hair/make up artist/model Jennifer Fredrickson. This was actually from I believe the first day we met to hang out, and ended up shooting together. Hard to believe that way so long ago! Anyways, I consider this a belated birthday present, it was SO many layers. If I get the opportunity to sell this as an artistic print or even a poster, I suggest looking at it up close at the finer details. For now, enjoy the small version (I’ll do the deviant -art upload a bit later with a larger resolution so you all can check it out.)

This has been long due to the lovely model Janelle Alyce… Make up, hair by Jenn Fredrickson.
I am a big supporter of the legalization of mary jane, have been since I was a wee child. Must have something to do with being raised by a punk rock mom, haha.
Coming soon: Rock & Roll Renaissance Jenn, & another Lacy Lou photo. Classic pin up style this time.

I love the idea of being a Gypsy, roaming around and essentially being free from the typical society. Alas, I try to keep that spirit alive in myself in a technological world where any forest (provided you have wireless cell card etc.) can trasnport you to anywhere else in the world.
As a child I grew up believing in the natural magick of the world. I researched trying to find meaningful things to add to this photo, I found how much in common my magick and gypsy magick had. I hope you enjoy this photo!
Coming soon: Ren Faire Rock & Roll Jen and Nurse Cannabis!

I like to create something a little different when creating your portraits. Oh sure, I can create your regular type photos, headshots, family portraits, all of those sorts of things.
But I love taking a concept (maybe a favorite one of yours), and then letting the hair and make up artists go to TOWN and create something outrageous and unique. I also love taking it a step further in Photoshop and letting the Wacom tablet do its thing. Below is model Alex Jane.
My friend Jennifer always told me that something she appreciated about my photos (both in concerts and studio type shots) is that I had this innate sense of timing, I knew right when to click the button to get the perfect photo. I never really noticed it until she pointed it out. This photo of model Lacy Lou, great fun to work with.
The rest of the portraits I’ve done can be seen here (or you can find them anytime by clicking “Gallery” in the menu above!)
